Construction of the Section DC 403 – from Škurinje to the port of Rijeka related to equipping the road and tunnel Podmurvice

Completed between October 2021 and 2023 by Hrvatske ceste d.o.o., the Podmurvice road tunnel project focused on enhancing safety and operational efficiency under expert leadership. Petar Hajnic role’s was Project Manager and Site Engineer.The project featured advanced tunnel lighting and ventilation to ensure safety in main pipes and emergency exits. A robust backup power system and a secure 20kV power supply were implemented for uninterrupted functionality. Comprehensive 20/0.4kV power distribution supported seamless operations. Additionally, integrated transport systems and state-of-the-art fire alarms were installed for superior management and safety. Beyond the tunnel, roadway enhancements included strategic lighting and cutting-edge traffic equipment to boost road safety and efficiency.

Reconstruction – existing and construction of the second track of the railway line on the section Dugo Selo - Križevci

Since 2016, under the guidance of HŽ Infrastruktura and expertly managed by Petar Hajnic as Project Manager, this ongoing project focuses on upgrading railway infrastructure for efficiency and safety. The initiative covers power subsystem construction and reconstruction to boost operational performance. Advanced traffic control and signaling systems are being implemented to ensure improved safety and efficient traffic flow. Additionally, effective noise protection measures are designed and installed to reduce environmental impact and improve community comfort, demonstrating a commitment to sustainable and community-friendly infrastructure development.

Equipping the Expressway – new installations, traffic signals and equipment of the section Vrbovec 2 – Farkaševac

From 2017 to 2019, Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o. led an initiative to enhance the expressway section from Vrbovec 2 to Farkaševac. Petar Hajnic had to roles for electrical part as project manager and chief engineer. The project involved constructing new medium voltage installations paired with a 20/0.4kV substation to ensure reliable power supply. Junction lighting was improved to enhance visibility and safety.Additionally, the implementation of traffic signalization and equipment upgrades optimized traffic flow and safety, marking a significant step forward in modern expressway management.

Equipping of the Beli Manastir – Osijek – Svilaj – Ploče Motorway-section Osijek-Drava Bridge

Between 2016 and 2018 Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o. invested in significant infrastructure upgrades were made to the Drava Bridge. Petar Hajnic was in role’s of Project Manager and Chief Engineer. The relocation of 20kV and 35kV medium voltage installations was conducted to support future substations along the AC route, upgrading the energy infrastructure. A photovoltaic system was installed to promote sustainable energy use. To ensure safety and visibility, a reliable backup power supply and effective pylon lighting were implemented. Additionally, decorative lighting enhanced the aesthetic appeal of the bridge.Comprehensive traffic signalization and equipment upgrades were applied, optimizing traffic management and ensuring improved flow and safety.

Equipping the Expressway – New installations, traffic signals and equipment of the Gradec – Križevci section

From 2015 to 2016 essential advancements were made in road infrastructure by Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o.The installation of advanced traffic signalization and equipment significantly enhanced road safety and traffic flow. Comprehensive road lighting solutions were implemented to improve visibility and ensure safer roadways and all under supervision of Petar Hajnic who had two role’s on this project, one as Project Manager and another as Chief Engineer.

HEP Distribution – 4-year contracts for the construction and maintenance of the power system

During the period of 2014 to 2015, under the role of Project Manager and Construction Site Engineer Petar Hajnic was responsible for specialized maintenance and construction of electrical systems were undertaken.Investor was HEP ODS.The focus was on high-quality electrical installation works, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Through careful planning and execution, the project successfully met industry standards, reinforcing the importance of quality in electrical system infrastructure.

Zagreb-Sisak Motorway – section Buševec-Lekenik

From 2012 to 2015 Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o., made significant improvements on the Zagreb-Sisak Motorway, specifically the Buševec-Lekenik section. Petar Hajnic role was Site Engineer. The project included the power supply and installation of new 20/0.4kV substations, ensuring reliable energy distribution throughout the area. Comprehensive lighting solutions were implemented for junctions and road rest areas, enhancing visibility and safety for all travelers. Additionally, advanced telecommunications installations (DTK) were introduced to facilitate efficient connectivity. Effective traffic equipment and signaling systems were also implemented, significantly improving road safety and traffic management with state-of-the-art solutions.

Construction of the Second Phase of the Velika Gorica – bypass on the D31 with a connection to the D408

Zagreb-Sisak Motorway- section Jakuševec-Velika Gorica

From 2009 to 2015, Petar Hajnic was Site Engineer on the project and Hrvatske autoceste were investor. The project involved the power supply and installation of new 20/0.4kV substations, providing reliable energy solutions crucial for ongoing infrastructure projects. The relocation of existing medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) installations optimized utility networks for improved functionality.Advanced telecommunications installations were implemented to enhance connectivity throughout the area. Additionally, state-of-the-art video surveillance systems were introduced to bolster security through effective monitoring.

Highway Beli Manastir – Osijek – Svilaj – Ploče, section Osijek-Đakovo

From 2008 to 2011, Hrvatske autoceste d.o.o. invest in one of the most important project at that time at Macelj Border Crossing at the time when car tourism was exploding. Petar Hajnic was appointed in a role of Works Manager.The project included the power supply and installation of a new 20/0.4kV substation, delivering reliable energy solutions tailored to meet infrastructure needs.
